S.T.E.M.

Short Term Evangelical Ministries

Flu Shot Clinic

Wednesday, October 1 from 9:30-11:30am

Thursday, October 9 from 5:30-7:00pm

Anyone covered by Traditional Medicare or Today’s Options needs to bring their card to the clinic.  For anyone not covered under Medicare and Today’s Options, the cost is $30 for a flu shot and $50 for an pneumonia vaccine.  If anyone has private Insurance which covers the cost, they will need to pay up front and will be given an Insurance form to submit for reimbursement.

Where did S.T.E.M. Come from?

Throughout the Bible one of the greatest lessons we are taught is about LOVE; loving God with our whole being and therefore we must love others.  Combine this with the Great Commission and we know what our focus should be. Thus the birth of S.T.E.M.

One way we can reach out to our community is through area events. This provides the opportunity to meet our neighbors, learn their needs, and allows them to get to know us.

.

The events will usually happen in one day. Donna Mathewson is looking for ideas and volunteers that would like to be a part of this outreach ministry. You could be involved in as little or as much as you have time for. The possibilities are endless… * free car wash * CPR classes *flu clinics * piano recitals * dinners * workshops * clean up an area *  She is also working with the Red Cross & Onondaga Health Dept. to have our building become an emergency evacuation center.  For more information, contact Donna or the church office.
