EXPERIENCE BIBLICAL COMMUNITY
IN A CARE GROUP
A PLACE OF MUTUAL MINISTRY AMONG MEMBERS OF
THE BODY OF CHRIST
“Now you are part of the body of Christ, and each of you is a part of it.” (I Corthians 12:27) “From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” (Ephesians 4:16.)
We’re excited about the incredible potential of the network of CARE Groups we’re building within Christ Community Church.
CARE Groups provide an environment where people in all walks of life can come together to share God's love. They are places where you can find love and acceptance and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Care groups are a gathering of 8 – 10 people who regularly come together to deepen their relationship with God and with each other and share biblical insights, burdens and needs with each other. Care Groups can meet weekly, bi-monthly or once a month depending on the format each Care Group chooses.

Are There Different Types of Care Groups?
.
There are different types of Care Groups. There are Home Groups (meeting in members’ homes), Ministry Groups (such a Men’s Ministry), and Sunday School Cell Groups (that form off a Sunday School Class).
.
What Can I Expect At A Care Group Meeting?
.
Prayer for each other; sharing of needs and praises; the Bible discussed and applied to life (most often centered around the text from the previous Sunday’s sermon); coffee & goodies – all in a little over one hour!

REASONS TO PARTICIPATE IN A CARE GROUP
.
-
It is a place where I can give and receive support through life’s difficulties.
-
It is a place where I can learn and help others to be genuine disciples of Christ.
-
It is a place where I can use my spiritual gifts to edify others.
-
It is a place where I can work on applying the Bible to my everyday life.
-
It is a place where I can really get to know people within the church and have them get to know me.
-
It is a non-threatening place where I can invite people who need Christ.
-
It is a place where I can join my efforts with others to more effectively serve the church and the community.
-
It is a place to lovingly care for others, as Christ commanded me to do.
EVERYONE NEEDS CARE! EVERYONE NEEDS TO CARE!
